Werewolves are vulnerable to several items, including Moon Dust, Devil's Puffball, Cursed Oil, and use of the Igni Sign.

Inside the cave, a Werewolf will stand before you with a few Wolf guardians (they will be classified as monsters, and so the silver sword will be needed to defeat them.) Take out the wolves and then move against the werewolf. At this point you'll want to meditate until nightfall and prepare yourself with potions. Find his notes, and then search below the house to find a cave. Inside you'll find evidence that Niellen was doing his hunting from here.and much worse. Follow the smells along a path to an Isolated Shack. The tracks will lead to a large tree with a stone slab propped up on it, and so you'll need to find a nearby tuft of hair to continue the search by smell alone. You'll find blood and claw marks of something big, and just behind the tree you'll find the broken body of Niellen's wife - killed by something big.

If you'd rather persist in finding her body, shrug Margrit off and inspect the dead dog. She'll attempt to pay you if you tell Niellen that you found her dead in the woods, to which you'll be awarded 72 XP for the bribe and 25 for telling him, and will get 55 crowns for the bribe, and an extra 10 for telling Niellen. Defeat them all and take care not to get cornered by their numbers.Īt this point, a highly suspicious Margrit will approach you and ask you to stop looking, out of concern for Niellen's sanity. As you enter the quest area, you'll see a large group of Wolves around a dead dog. The children she took care of at the Blacksmiths will also tell you they saw her entering the forest with another woman.įrom Blackbough, head North into the woods and follow the long trail up past the Pellar's hut and into the deeper part of the woods. Speaking to the butcher's wife, you'll learn that the wolves in the woods have been acting up, which is most likely where she met her end. His wife's sister Margrit also has no clue where she could have gone, but points you towards two people she was close to. His wife disappeared one night, most likely in the woods near town. For if a man is going to know who he truly is as a man, if he is going to find a life worth living, love a woman deeply, and not pass on his confusion to his children, he simply must get his heart back.Head to the town, which is just Northwest of Crow's Perch, and find the man named Niellen.

It’s an invitation to rush the fields at Bannockburn, to go West, to leap from the falls and save the beauty. This is not a retreat about the “seven things a man ought to do to be a nicer guy.” It is a four-day quest into the recovery of a man’s masculine soul, the release of a man’s heart-his passions and his true nature-all given him by God. A man must know he is powerful he must know he has what it takes. The way we handle the heart is everything. What if? What if those deep desires in our hearts are telling us the truth, revealing to us the lives we were meant to live? God gave us eyes so that we might see he gave us ears that we might hear he gave us wills that we might choose and he gave us hearts that we might live. And he needs a deeper understanding of why women long to be fought for, to be swept up into adventure, and to be the beauty. Wild at Heart BASIC is Wild at Heart Boot Camp led by John Eldredge and his team through video session in your local area.Ī man needs a deeper understanding of why these longings govern him-and why God made him just like that.
